The time has arrived to find the Prometheus: The wisest Titan, the greatest friend that mankind ever had and the rebel visionary.

Team Ensemble and FINAX (Finance Association @ XLRI) invite your participation for the title of “The Prometheus” – The Fin God.

For this battle of supremacy, you have to prove mettle in number crunching and out-thinking the others when it comes to innovativeness and financial acumen.

The first round for selecting the credible minds shall happen on 4^th January 2008 in the form of a QUIZ. Top eight teams shall be invited for the Final battle where contest will be completed on-campus in 3 stages:

Round 1 – Mergers & Acquisition

Round 2 – Technical Analysis

Round 3 – Designing of an Exotic Derivative Instrument

General Rules and Information:

1.       Entries are invited form all the Management schools.

2.      Selection of top eight teams shall be made on the basis of the team’s performance in the quiz to be held on 4^th January at 2200 hours.

3.      A team should have three members.

4.      All the team members should be from the same B-School.

5.      No person can be a part of multiple teams. The violation of this rule shall lead to disqualification of all such teams.

6.      Only one team shall be selected from any B-school.

7.      Kindly refer to Quiz Rules for further details about the quiz.

1.   The above details have to be filled by all the teams else entry will not be evaluated.

2.   All the team members should belong to the same institute.

3.   The duration of this quiz is 1 hour.

4.   The quiz consists of 40 questions.

5.   The solution sheets needs to be mailed on finax@xlri.ac.in and on ensemble.finax@gmail.com by 2300 hours, 4th January 2008.

6.   The solution sheet should be named as <teamname>_<institutename>_Prometheus
